This is my 12th year teaching, and my 9th year teaching 2nd grade at Washington School. I absolutely love teaching on the 2nd grade team at Washington, and am so excited for another new school year!
Before coming to Washington School, I taught at Ridgeview Elementary in Colfax, IL. I taught 3rd grade for 2 years and 2nd grade for 1 year. I attended Illinois State University (Go Redbirds!!), and graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
I enjoy spending time outside in the beautiful sunshine, running, reading, music, spending time with friends and family, and learning new things.
I am so excited for this school year with this group of 2nd graders and their families! Let’s have an excellent year learning and growing together. It’s a great year to be a wolf!
